Setup and connection
Does it need the internet?
The app reaches your room through our cloud, so yes for now. A local-network mode is in development. Scheduled switching also currently runs in the cloud; moving it onto the controller is planned and is required before launch.
Which WiFi does it use?
2.4 GHz is what has been tested. The gateway's ESP32-C5 also supports 5 GHz, but that is not tested yet, so plan on 2.4 GHz. Setup is over Bluetooth from the phone app, which shows the networks the gateway can see.
Can I install it myself?
Low-voltage cabling is designed to be do-it-yourself: each sensor and pump plugs in with one RJ45 cable. Anything on mains power, such as heaters, lights and fans, should be wired by a qualified electrician.
Will it work in my country?
The sensors, pumps and controller run on low-voltage DC. The relay module's mains rating is not chosen yet: whether it will be 230 V only or 110 and 230 V is undecided. Tell us your country on the reservation form.
Dosing and sensors
Will it correct my pH and EC automatically?
Not at first. Dosing is manual or scheduled. Automatic correction is planned and will need safeguards (plausibility checks, daily limits, mixing waits) before it ships.
How accurate is the dosing?
We do not publish a figure yet. The pumps are designed to measure their own output with an encoder, but the first weighed test doses have not been run.
How often do probes need calibrating or replacing?
pH, EC and ORP probes need periodic calibration with standard solutions, and the dissolved-oxygen film is replaced yearly. Intervals will be published once we have tested them.
Does it work with my lights, pumps or climate equipment?
We have not tested any specific brand, so we do not list any. Equipment that is switched on and off is the target. Tell us what you run on the early-access form.
Buying
What does it cost? Is there a subscription?
Not decided yet, so nothing on this site has a price. A reservation is a request, not a purchase: we reply with the configuration, price and delivery date, and you decide.
Can I try the software before buying anything?
Yes. Create an account in the portal and add a room: new rooms run on sample data, clearly labelled, so you can explore every screen. The demo on the home page works without an account.
What happens when I send a reservation request?
It reaches us with your basket and room details. Nothing is charged and nothing is reserved until you agree in writing to the configuration, price and delivery date we send back.
Data and safety
Where is my data stored?
On a server in the EU. Sensor history is kept for 90 days by default, with encrypted nightly backups. Export is planned.
Can other customers see my rooms?
No. Every account sees only its own organisation's rooms, and automated tests check that one customer can never read another's.
Is it certified?
Not yet. Individual sensors have their own IP ratings, but the system has no enclosure rating or CE, UKCA or FCC certification.
Does it use AI or cameras?
No. Neither is part of the current product.
