Privacy notice
Draft. This text describes intended practice and has not had legal review. It must be reviewed, and the controller identity filled in, before the site goes public.
What we collect
Only what you type into the reservation or early-access form: your name, email address, country, whether you are a home grower or a facility, room count, growing system, and optionally reservoir size and equipment. The reservation form also sends what is in your basket. We record which page the form was on and when it was sent.
Why
To reply to your request, to contact you about early access, and to understand which setups to support. Nothing else. We do not sell or share it.
Where it is kept
On our server in the EU (AWS, Frankfurt), in the same database that holds app accounts, with encrypted nightly backups. Your IP address is not stored with your request. It is used to limit how many requests one connection can send, and, as on most web servers, it appears in the server's access logs, which are kept for security and troubleshooting.
How long
Until you ask us to delete it, or until it is no longer needed for the purpose above. To be confirmed.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies. Your basket is kept in your own browser's storage and is only sent if you submit the reservation form. Analytics, if added, will be cookie-free. To be confirmed.
Your rights
You can ask us to see, correct or delete your details at any time by emailing hello@your-domain.example.
The app
Data from rooms connected to the app is stored on a server in the EU. A separate notice for the app is to be written.
