Where the product actually is.
GrowRoom is a prototype. The parts work separately; joining them into one end-to-end system is the current engineering step.
Working Tested
- App with sign-in, roles, live view, graphs, control, schedules and alarms (sample data)
- Cloud server with 284 automated tests, including customer data separation
- Gateway setup over Bluetooth, reporting, signed updates (real board)
- Controller reading three real sensors on one bus: temperature/humidity, CO₂, light
- Pump driver answering commands, disarmed by default
In progress Now
- Linking the controller to the gateway so real readings reach the app
- First measured dose and pump calibration
- Pump-to-controller CAN link (being diagnosed)
- Water-chemistry probes on the isolated bus
- iPhone and web builds
Planned Next
- Schedules and safety limits running on the controller, for offline operation
- Emergency stop in the app
- Email, push and SMS alerts; event alarms
- Team invitations, change history, data export
- Board revision, enclosure, electrical safety and EMC testing, certification
- Long-run reliability test in a real room

What this site does not claim yet.
- Any dosing accuracy figure. It needs weighed test doses, which have not been run.
- Any sensor accuracy beyond the manufacturers' stated specifications, which we have not independently verified.
- Compatibility with any particular light, pump or climate brand. None has been tested.
- Enclosure ratings or product certifications. None exist yet.
- AI features or video cameras. Not started.
Sensor models are selected from DFRobot's RS-485 range. Their published ranges and accuracy will appear on the hardware page once each has been tested here.
